Meet The Founder
I’m a Nigerian-British, 50 year old mum of two amazing girls, an Optometrist an avid DIYer, ADHD warrior and the founder of Galavanting with Celiatoks.
How it all began...
Galavanting with Celiatoks started as a simple idea—meeting incredible women I had connected with online and making friends. What began as casual meet-ups quickly transformed into something more powerful: a vibrant community where women feel supported, uplifted, and connected.
Why I started this community...
As a single mum, I realised that my daughters would soon be off pursuing their own dreams and while I want them to remember to call home now and again, I also don’t want them to worry about me being alone. I'd like them to be reassured in the knowledge that I’m thriving in a supportive network of friends, embracing my own journey, and having fun.
In the process of making new connections and building a network of friends, I had a strong feeling that the ladies I was getting on so well with would also connect wonderfully with each other if they met... so I made it happen. I started organising meet ups and and exciting events to enjoy with the ladies. Since the birth of Galavanting with Celiatoks, many friendships and sisterhoods have been formed, old connections have been reignited and joyous experiences have been shared.
The mission
The energy and joy I’ve felt at our gatherings has inspired me to keep this movement growing! My mission is to host unforgettable events filled with laughter, excitement, and genuine connections and share this with as many women as possible.
I want every woman who joins us to leave feeling empowered and cherished, knowing she has found her tribe.
